Style is a Lifestyle - Thato "Tido" Tsagae

I am a religious lover of vintage. I love all things unique and eccentric, from  1960s cars to old radios, from sunglasses to my grandmother's skirts. I appreciate fashion. I'm a people watcher and appreciate those who step out of the house with confidence of making the world their catwalk.

It is, therefore, not surprising to have been intrigued by Thato's fashion sense. He's one of those people who stick out in a crowd and you can't ignore him. The world is his catwalk and he walks that ramp alright!!!

One of the looks which captured me...
Thato "Tido" Tsagae is a young fashionista born in Potchestroom, South Africa.

By looking at him I'd say that the South African heritage of Sophia Town inspire some of his look, though it was way before his time. He'd fit very well in that era, which I also appreciate and wish I had lived in.

He is also a modern kind of guy, who is well aware of the trend of the season and customises it to suit his style.

Tido's love for uniqueness and wanting to be the best shaped his look from an early age.

He discovered that he was a fashionista while in High School where his peers used to complained about how they couldn't keep up with his eccentric sense of style. "This is when I realised that 'style' is more than we think. It is, in fact, a lifestyle", he says. I couldn't agree with him more.

Thato acknowledges his parent's counsel of saying "look good all the time because you never know who you will meet one day...". He says, "when I wake up getting ready for the day, looking & gazing into my closet, those words linger on my mind.

Thato and his lady friend, Bonolo Mosimege, who is always always by his side
Thato also a firm believer of fitness. To look good you have to have a body to compliment the look in order to ensure that your style is sleek.

He's against looking like he has been cling-wrapped!!! Yes, yes, you've seen a few cling-wrapped folk out there **hiding face**.

In his earlier years, he was afforded an opportunity to play for the Development wing of my favourite football club in the entire universe, Kaizer Chiefs Football Club. This opportunity influenced his fitness obsession, which boosts his confidence.

Some of his friends call him naughty... Some call him charming, especially when trying to get out of a beating... I call him one of my Style Princes.

There you have it - My Style Prince of the week.

Yours in Style,

Nyaxsta your Vintaligious-Chic
